Groovy Code Camp in Phoenix
I'm thrilled to be working with the smart guys from Integrallis on the upcoming Groovy Code Camps. The first one is in Phoenix, AZ on Saturday, June 20, 2009.
I'll be partnering with Joseph Faisal Nusairat (co-author of the outstanding Beginning Groovy and Grails), Brian Sam-Bodden (founder of Integrallis and author of Beginning POJOs), and Raju Gandhi (a senior Grails consultant with Integrallis).
The whole point of the code camp is to bring your laptop and get real, hands-on experience with Groovy. It's one thing to sit back and watch someone else do the typing. It's a whole different thing when it's you. By actively working with Groovy in one intense day, you will be building "muscle memory" in Groovy in a way that's pretty unique. (Can you tell that I'm excited about this?)
I look forward to seeing you in Phoenix in June, Denver in July, and who knows -- maybe your city as well. Drop us a note if you want us to come to your hometown.
