We'll cover the latest version of Grails (1.2.2 as of now), and we'll be teaching out of our latest book, Getting Started with Grails.
The class is very hands-on -- you bring your laptop, and we'll make sure that you get Groovy and Grails (and Java) installed, as well as the IDE or text editor of your choice. This is not a "watch someone else do the typing for you" kind of class. The detailed labs ensure that you are comfortable getting your first (or your latest) Grails application written and deployed.
